Bill Kelly — Director/Instructor |
|
Bill has 22 years of experience, and received his technical training from Lincoln Technical School in Indianapolis, IN in 1987. He received a AA degree in Business Management. He was hired right after graduation by Tune-Up Masters. He moved to California and worked as a technician and later as a shop manager. Bill started teaching automotive technology to adults part-time in 1991 with Allen Testproducts. In 1994 Bill received his California State Designated Subjects Teaching Credential and started teaching full-time. He is an BAR Certified Advanced Emissions instructor and is an ASE Master Automotive technician holding additional ASE Certifications in L1, Diesel, Automotive Machinist, Exhaust Systems and Alternative Fuels. |

Ray has over 40 years experience, Ray has worked as a technician for independent shops, a mass merchandiser and Standard Stations Inc. While owning his own shop during the ‘60’s and ‘70’s, Ray began teaching automotive technology to adults at a public institution and holds a Lifetime California Designated Subjects Teaching Supervision of Automotive Technology programs. During the ‘80’s and ‘90’s he was training manager for Allen Testproducts and SPX Corporation. First Certified by the California Highway Patrol as a Smog Technician in 1964, Ray is a currently Certified ASE Master Technician and is a BAR Certified Master Instructor. With 30 years of teaching experience Ray brings both theoretical and hands-on knowledge to the classroom. |

Doug started doing automotive repair in 1964 when just out of high school. From 1964 until 1972 he worked in an independent shop getting his first smog license in 1967. Doug worked in a General Motors dealership from 1976 to 1980 becoming factory trained in computer controlled emission systems. He owned his own shop from 1980 until 1993. Doug started teaching adults part-time in 1992. In 1993 he started teaching full-time with SPX Corporation. Doug teaches the Modern Automotive Technology class, Basic Area Clean Air Class (Phases I,II,III), Enhanced Area Clean Air Class with Dyno, 2009 Update Required if License expires in 2009/2010. |

Jerry has been in the automotive field for over 40 years, and has worked as a mechanic for many of those years. Jerry has been manufacturer trained along with specialized training from Bosch. Jerry began teaching automotive technology in the late 1980’s. Jerry is a BAR Certified Instructor and holds a Life SDS part-time and full-time teaching credentials. Jerry is also a former United States Marine. |

Susan is the Office Manager for Automotive Diagnostic Training. Susan runs the office, maintains & updates the website, mailings and take care of students services. |
