The administration of AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC Training has been in the business of Automotive Technical Training for adult students since 1971. Starting in adult public education and then moving to the private sector, we have become the foremost provider of diagnostic and emission training in Southern California. Background Having long term ties with Allen Test products, SPX, Bear Automotive and the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair we are respected throughout the automotive industry for our top quality engine performance and emissions training. Mission Our goal is to provide diagnostic and emission training for the student entering the automotive industry for the first time and also for the professional automotive technician wishing to upgrade his or her skills. Approvals We are approved by the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair to teach the State required classes, BAR certified school #993018. We are also approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau for Private Post-secondary and Vocational Education, approval #3009351. Certifications Our instructors are ASE Certified Master Technicians, and are State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair certified Advanced Emission Instructors. All hold State of California Private Post-secondary certifications. Facility Conveniently located in Anaheim, California, close to the 22,5, and 57 freeways, our classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors, VCR’s, computers and video monitors to compliment the presentations of our instructors. Our library has state of the art electronic automotive information systems by Alldata and Mitchell on Demand, which are standards in the industry. These are the same types of systems that are used in the shops where our graduates are employed. We also have books and manuals by Mitchell Information Systems dating back to 1966. These are the same manuals that have been is use in the automotive industry for over 50 years. Our lab areas are equipped with Allen, Bear, Sun and SPX diagnostic equipment. We have installed a Clayton dynamometer and SPX emissions analyzer that meets the current California Enhanced Area emissions program specifications. We also have available for student hands-on use, Vetronix and OTC lab scopes and meters. Customized Training AUTOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC Training is affordable and can tailor an educational program to individual or shop requirements. We offer programs that provide a variety of technical training ranging from multi-subject programs of five months down to individual seminars and workshops of four hours.
